Position: Drainage Engineer
Salary: $23.73/hr. min. -
$30.26/hr. mid
Responsible for establishing
and implementing the city-wide drainage master plan and storm water
management, and complying with surface and storm water quality and
management as required by EPA, Storm Water NPDES Permits and to
ensure future development complies with South Florida Water
Management District and does not impact the City's storm water
drainage. Requires Bachelor's degree from four-year college or
university with a degree in civil engineering, hydrogeology or
related field, Intern Engineering Certification (must obtain
Professional Engineering license within two years of hire date),
three years experience in drainage study, natural resource
management or related work; or equivalent combination of education
and experience, ability to read and interpret engineering plans and
specification and proficient in word processing, spreadsheet,
database and presentation software.
