PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Final Message — Short & Sweet!
It truly has been an honor and a pleasure to serve as chapter president for the past year. I look forward to great things from the chapter in the coming year. We have a great group of people serving on the board and many more active members who participate regularly in chapter activities. Without your help, we would not be able to award thousands of dollars in scholarships, conduct our annual MathCounts competition for the many middle school “mathletes” in local schools and provide the numerous and varied programs throughout the year that we all hope are of interest to you, the membership of the Calusa Chapter.
Congratulations to the newest members of our board, Adolfo Gonzalez, PE and Elizabeth Fountain, PE, who along with returning board members will continue to provide many opportunities for participation by our membership in 2004-05.
As always, please join us on June 24th at Fiddlesticks Country Club as we welcome FES State President, Shannon LaRocque, PE and FES Executive Director, Frank Rudd, for our annual installation of new officers and recognition of our newest chapter scholarship recipients. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at our dinner meeting on the 24th. Please plan on joining us.
Thanks to all for a great chapter year!
Walter F. Gilcher, PE
